- The retainer secures your wedding date. The date is not confirmed until the retainer is received and this contract is signed by both parties.

- Accepted payment methods: [bank transfer / cash / card / other].
Cancellation Terms
If the client cancels this booking:
| Notice period | What you pay |
|---|---|
| More than 6 months before the wedding | Retainer is forfeited (non-refundable) |
| 3 to 6 months before the wedding | 50% of the total contract price |
| Less than 3 months before the wedding | 100% of the total contract price |
Cancellations must be made in writing (email is fine).
Postponement
- The client may change the wedding date once at no extra charge, subject to the stylist's availability on the new date.
- If the stylist is not available on the new date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the terms above will apply.
- A second or subsequent date change will be treated as a cancellation.
Force Majeure
If the wedding cannot go ahead due to circumstances beyond either party's control - such as serious illness, severe weather making travel unsafe, or venue closure - both parties will be released from this contract. The client will receive a refund of all payments made, minus any costs the stylist has already incurred (e.g. products purchased, travel already undertaken).
Neither party will be liable for any further loss or damage in these circumstances.
Patch Test Requirement
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before the trial and at least 48 hours before the wedding day for any colour or chemical treatment. It is the client's responsibility to attend the agreed patch test appointment. If the client does not attend or refuses a patch test, the stylist reserves the right to refuse the relevant treatment on the day.
Client Obligations
The client agrees to:
- Arrive at the getting-ready location on time, or be ready at the agreed time if the stylist is travelling to them.
- Follow any hair preparation instructions given by the stylist (e.g. washing hair the night before, no product on the morning).
- Follow any skin preparation instructions given by the stylist (e.g. moisturising routine, avoiding new skincare products in the week before).
- Communicate any changes to the bridal party size, services, or timeline at least 4 weeks before the wedding.
- Ensure the getting-ready area is well-lit, has access to a power socket, and has a clean table or surface for the stylist to set up.
Stylist Obligations
The stylist agrees to:
- Arrive at the agreed time with all necessary equipment and products.
- Recreate the look agreed at the trial, or the look agreed in writing if no trial took place.
- Maintain professional standards throughout the booking.
- Carry valid professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Contact the client immediately if any issue arises that could affect the booking.
Photography and Social Media
The stylist may take photographs of the finished look(s) for use on their website, social media, and portfolio, unless the client opts out below.
- I consent to my photos being used for the stylist's marketing purposes.
- I do NOT consent to my photos being used.
For detailed photo and social media terms, please refer to the separate Photo and Social Media Consent Form.
Limitation of Liability
The stylist's total liability under this contract is limited to the total contract price. The stylist is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (e.g. distress, loss of enjoyment, costs of rebooking another stylist).
If the client has an adverse reaction to a product despite a clear patch test, the stylist's liability is limited to the cost of the treatment in question.
